Evans man reflects on wife’s disease on World Alzheimer’s Day

An Evans man hopes people use World’s Alzheimer Day this Saturday to educate themselves about the disease before it affects a loved one. Education is what has helped Carlo Bracci manage caring for his wife, Lina, who is one of 150,000 people in Georgia who suffer from the disease, according to the Alzheimer’s Association. The organization reports that number is expected to reach 190,000 by 2025.
