Now, researchers from the University of Georgia are hoping avoid harm and advance therapy development by studying head injuries in a petri dish. Scientists at UGA’s Regenerative Bioscience Center in Athens were able to simulate a traumatic brain injury in their lab and begin testing some possible treatment options.
