About 20 percent of Savannah/Chatham students in quarantine

Since schools resumed in-person classes two weeks ago, the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) has 20.36% of its student population in quarantine due to increasing COVID-19 cases. For the week of Jan. 14, the district reported 3% of students and 7% of personnel had tested positive for COVID-19. Meanwhile, 20.4% of students and 8% of staff were in quarantine.
