10 percent of Savannah/Chatham students in Covid quarantine

The number of students quarantined due to COVID-19 in Savannah-Chatham County public schools increased by 221 during the week ending Aug. 27, according to numbers posted Tuesday on the school district website. The district reported 3,479 students, or 9.68% of the student population, were in COVID-19 quarantine. The total is up 3,258 students the previous week.
