Public health experts wary of lifting COVID emergency too early

Georgia is lifting some COVID restrictions beginning next week, but some health experts warn it may be doing so prematurely.   Gov. Brian Kemp signed orders Wednesday that include provisions to eliminate the ban on gatherings of over 50 people; reduce any remaining distancing requirements at restaurants, bars, movie theaters and gyms; and eliminate the ability of law enforcement to close an organization for failure to comply.
