‘We’re blessed’: Grateful teacher among those getting vaccine

On the one-year anniversary of the World Health Organization declaring COVID-19 a pandemic, Krana Herriott-Felton was among the more than 1,000 Muscogee County School District employees vaccinated against the coronavirus Thursday. “I know it doesn’t fix everything, but it does help me with a little bit more security, knowing that I have that extra protection,” Herriott-Felton, a second-grade teacher at River Road Elementary School, told the Ledger-Enquirer.
