Trailing behind its competitor in vaccinating seniors against COVID-19, Memorial Health announced Friday that it will soon step up efforts to reach the 65 and over population. “We are finalizing plans to open an offsite, community-based vaccine clinic for people 65+,” Memorial announced in a prepared statement late Friday afternoon. “It will be appointment-only for anyone 65+ and not just Memorial Health patients. We believe this is a critical service that should be offered to everyone that meets the current criteria.
