Savannah, Brunswick get first vaccine doses in Georgia

Public health facilities in Savannah and Brunswick on Monday received the first shipments of 5,850 doses COVID-19 vaccine for administration in Georgia, a press release from the Georgia Department of Public Health announced.  Shipments of the Pfizer vaccine arrived in at the two public health locations with ultra-cold freezers required for storage and temperature control of the vaccine. The Savannah location received about 4,000 doses and Brunswick 2,000.
