Savannah/Chatham board considers hybrid return to school

Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools Superintendent Ann Levett will propose an Oct. 5 return to in-person learning for students Wednesday in a specially called Board of Education meeting. The administration’s plan, posted to the School Board website on Tuesday, expands on the phased-return strategy unveiled at the board’s regular monthly meeting last week. The update calls for in-person learning two days a week and virtual learning the other three days for students whose parents choose the hybrid model.
