Quarantine, uncertainty make COVID-19 a struggle for Savannah woman

Even a mild case of COVID-19 can be lonely and frightening. It was for southside Savannah resident Shakira Weary, 24, who woke up with a cough one Monday in late June. The next day, after her boss told her an office mate tested positive for the virus, she too, got tested. As Weary waited for her test results she felt fatigued and lost her appetite. Then she lost her sense of taste and smell.
