Masks will now be required at Richmond County schools when students return to campuses but the Sept. 8 reopening date is no longer a certainty. Superintendent Kenneth Bradshaw recommended Tuesday a special called school board meeting Sept. 1 to discuss whether the district should move forward with face-to-face learning the next week. He explained that this decision will be based on up-to-date community COVID-19 spread.
