Friends, colleagues and family gathered at AU Medical Center on Thursday to honor and celebrate the life of one of their own. Yolanda Coar, 40, a nurse manager at Augusta University, died of COVID-19 on Aug. 9. Her husband, Matthew, said they would have celebrated their 10th year anniversary next month, which he still plans to do even without the love of his life by his side.
