

Chatham expected to see rise in COVID-19 cases

Chatham County looks ripe for a resurgence of COVID-19, according to Dr. David Rubin, director of the PolicyLab at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The PolicyLab has developed a model for predicting COVID-19 outbreaks at the county level using input that includes demographics, the pattern of the disease so far locally, temperature and humidity, and levels of social distancing as gauged by cellphone data.
