

Agencies anticipate influx of domestic violence reports

Local organizations have not seen an increase in domestic violence or abuse calls and reports, but they expect an influx once the coronavirus restrictions are lifted. “We are really concerned right now about victims of domestic violence because we know they are quarantined and shelter-in-place,” said Aimee Hall, Executive Director at SafeHomes Augusta.
