After Kays Pharmacy closed several years ago, Harlem residents had to travel to Grovetown or Thomson to pick up prescriptions and other medical necessities. On June 24, the new Harlem Pharmacy opened at the former Harlem Women’s Club building on West Milledgeville Road, giving residents not just a place to fill prescriptions, but also receive supplement counseling, hormone consultations and other services including compounding.
