A federal inmate died on June 7 in the Chatham County Jail, according to the U.S. Marshals for the Southern District of Georgia. Michael McLemore, 26, was transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center on June 6. According to a release from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, he was placed on life support but did not survive.
