Though rain is often welcome by those who suffer from allergies, Thursday night’s storms didn’t help much in keeping the pollen down, with Friday’s count reaching the highest level since 2013. According to Atlanta Allergy and Asthma, the area’s largest group of allergists, Friday’s pollen count was 6,262 pollen grains per cubic meter of air.
