WellStar Kennestone Hospital is drawing up plans to build a new $15 million, 28,000-square-foot clinical decision unit.  That’s an area in the hospital where doctors can monitor and evaluate patients who do not meet criteria for inpatient admission but are not well enough to go home without further observation.
