

Georgians warned to avoid deadly mosquitoes

With West Nile virus being found in Chatham County mosquitoes earlier this summer, the Georgia Department of Public Health has confirmed seven human cases of West Nile virus elsewhere in the state so far this year, including one death. Additionally, there has been one confirmed case of Eastern Equine Encephalitis that resulted in death.
