Near-record temperatures and high humidity could prompt heat advisories over the next few days. Chris Rohrbach, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Columbia, said the Augusta area can expect temperatures to hover in the mid-90s today and reach 100 degrees Wednesday and Thursday.
