Commentary: Trends to watch for in health care

Now that the Affordable Care Act is certain to be implemented fully, the business of health care will fundamentally change in the coming years. On that basic fact, most people agree.

But in a new GHN Commentary, Victor Moldovan, an attorney at McGuireWoods in Atlanta, and Brad Alexander, a senior vice president at McGuireWoods Consulting, go beyond the generality and discuss what health care trends can be expected to accelerate as a result of the ACA

Those changes include “elimination of high coverage plans, decentralization of health care delivery, and a focus on tying provider reimbursements more directly to outcomes,’’  Moldovan and Alexander write.
