Medicare’s annual open-enrollment period kicks off Oct. 15,  and the new offerings of Part D prescription drug coverage and private insurers’ Medicare Advantage plans are posted on Medicare.gov and other sites. The Wall Street Journal reports that Medicare health plans have a new star rating system, so beneficiaries can determine which options scored best.
