Floyd County plans to reopen schools Monday

All Floyd County schools will be open on Monday after the school system adopted new guidelines concerning concerning student and staff quarantines after a possible COVID-19 exposure. A emailed release from the system issued Friday stated that currently quarantined students now have two options. Students who are asymptomatic or who have not tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 10 days and do not have a family member who has tested positive for the disease for the past 14 days now have the option to return to school. All students and staff members are required to wear face coverings.
