The city of Savannah’s warnings about issuing citations for not wearing masks so far have been just that — ominous threats that were either embraced or ignored, depending on the individual. Mayor Van Johnson said on Tuesday that residents will soon see a “much more pronounced” enforcement of the mask mandate.
